Our typical workday is full of distractions, deadlines, meetings, and other stressors all competing for our attention every second. Even though many of us are working from our homes those deadlines and stressors do not disappear, we are facing the same stress; the difference is that we are experiencing it in a different location.

It is no secret that we tend to get stressed and tense at work, which not only affects our ability to focus and be productive, but it gets into our personal lives as well, after work.

When we are more aware of what is happening and take control of our emotions and situations, we can rebalance ourselves better, which leads to a better state and level of productivity.

What Is Mindfulness?

The concept of mindfulness may not be something new to you, since this kind of practice has gained a lot of traction lately. Practicing mindfulness means reaching a state in which you are much more aware of the present moment; you are more likely to become more aware of yourself and of what is happening around you.
