People Don’t Want Full Remote Work, They Want Something Different

If you are a LinkedIn user, you might have seen on your timeline an increase of posts asking, “Which one is you?” or “Which one do you prefer?” These questions are connected with the photos where you need to select one of the emojis to express what type of work you want to have in the post-Covid world: Remote Full-Time, 3+ days remote, 2+ days remote, 1+ day remote, or a Full-Time Office role.

If you’ve checked dozens of those posts not only you will get some idea of what could be the ideal setup that people want, but you will also see that people have not been preferring only one option.

And what even people from the same company are not able to agree upon is what the best setup is for them. Some people are supporting complete remote setup; others are sharing their opinion on why two days a week in the office should be the ideal setup for everyone.

The diversity of their opinions only confirms that we can’t say with 100% certainty that all people want to work remotely full-time. All the comments and data show us that people want and are looking for flexibility!
